Terms to know and positions
As we continue to grow as Troop TX-777, we have several empty spaces in our Chair Section, Rangers, and Trail Guides. When you go to the Chair Section you will learn the jobs for each chair and their title. You will also see who is currently serving in that position.

We need Rangers and Trail Guides to help our patrols. These individuals are registered adults with Trail Life USA, with a specific role of teaching.

Trail Guides (TG) - Adults (age 18 or over for Woodlands Trail, Navigators, and Adventurers) who assist the Ranger, Trailmaster, or Advisor in delivering the Troop program. Trail Guides are NOT formal members of the committee and they do NOT attend Troop Committee meetings.

Ranger (RAN), Trailmaster (TRL) and Advisor (ADV) - Adults (age 21 and over) who oversee the operation of specific age-levels within the Troop by providing direction, coaching, and support. These positions are NOT voting members of the Committee, but they may be asked to attend Troop Comittee meetings.
